just what I was looking for to handle all the scrub grass & other stuff on my son’s acreage.
This is tool is great! It’s actually fun! It’s a cross between playing golf and baseball – and the weeds get cut! I have allergies and it’s great to take out my frustrations of constant stuffy nose etc and just hack off those offending weeds (but do it in a strong wind so it’s carrying those pollens away from you).
Great tool! This thing works great without bending over or messing with fuel and get a little exercise. Simple, durable, and made in US!
This was much smaller than I expected! I guess this is my fault for not paying enough attention to the measurements. It has both a very short handle and blade. Not at all sharp. I couldn’t get it to cut much of anything. I should have returned it as I found it useless, guess it will be a wall ornament in my garage.
The yard I have is about 30×40 with cultured plants and wide walking paths running through it. This whip got all the weeds on the paths and it makes no difference how high they are. It’s very little effort, lightweight, you don’t have to use wide strong swings, and it ended up being a lot of fun to use. It did not do well on clumps of high grass. Them I had to pull by hand. The blade is not razor sharp and I really don’t know how it’s able to cut weeds, but it does it very well without fear of hitting myself and getting cut.
