I am an owner of a commercial general contracting company. I’ve tried digitizers and other measuring devices. I’ve used the Scale Master Classic continually for 10+ years. I’m replacing it only because it finally disappeared from my jobsite desk. I’d recommend the basic “Classic” model over the more expensive. The additional modes and options are confusing unless you read the manual each time you use it. The PC connection on the more expensive version was more of a hassle than simply typing directly into the spreadsheet. The Scale Master is so simple, I need nothing more!
Just as described by the manufacturer. No problems, just remember to hold the tool upright or you could misread a measurement.

The first time I ordered this product in December it was 35.00, the second time I ordered it in December it was 51.00. That’s just too big of a difference within one month. What gives?
This works great, but it would be better if your could personalize the scale instead of using the few ones the device has.
