  1. This is first rate, made in the U.S.A. tool. Excellent steel, strong and well finished I bought it to replace a very old Crescent adjustable wrench that wandered off. It’s nice to find that Crescent, who invented this type of wrench, is still in business. All of their tools are great investments.

  2. I bought this wrench almost 2 years ago and have used it constantly at work since then. I work primarily on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico, so this tool is constantly soaked in salt water. The mechanism has held up well in that time. All I have done is keep it rinsed daily and occasionally spray the adjustment screw with some electrical cleaner to break any corrosion free. A wire brush also works to clean the wrench. The rubber grip is comfortable but sadly it is the least durable part of the tool. Mine is still intact, but torn and worn away in places. Still it serves its purpose and provides good grip and cushioning. The hole at the end of the handle is useful for attaching a small shackle and brass clip as I have to keep the wrench on my jeans and out of the ocean.

I would buy another of these tools if I ever lose mine. But I don;t see myself replacing it anytime soon.
