This wrench is quality all the way through. I especially like the locking nut on the handle. That prevents the torque from being changed accidently while in use. This happened to me once when I forgot to lock it. Great deal for the price. Lifetime warrenty. Can’t ask for much more.
I was very surprised at the lower quality of this item. Have many GearWrench sets and so have become used to a somewhat higher quality than I feel this torque wrench provides. The rubber handle slips off easily and the ratcheting mechanism is coarse and uneven in operation. In a word, the tool is merely ‘adequate’. Also, the warranty is for only one year.
