Keson RR318N 3-foot RoadRunner Measuring Wheel
I purchased the Keson RR318N measuring wheel for a fraction of the cost of similar wheels – most 3-foot wheels start around $90. I couldn’t be happier with the wheel. The stand is a convenient feature, allowing me to stop mid-measurement to take notes in the field. The wheel is well-constructed and rolls smoothly over even rough surfaces. I highly recommend this product.
I purchased the Keson RR318N measuring wheel because of a great price and also because of the 5 star review .I use it to measure lawns and Ag fields .The product works great except on rough surfaces ,because the stand hooks on everything . It’s hard to balance the wheel on the stand even on smooth ground . The over-all quality is excellent , the dial is easy to read ,but the design of the stand needs major improvement . D.G. So far, I’ve used this product to see how far I’m running at the local park, and it seems extremely accurate and durable. The kickstand is a great feature, and I love how the counter will decrease as I move the wheel backward. Measures precisely in one-inch increments. Wheel is sturdy, and handle is adjustable. Good product.
I purchased some land and needed a measuring device like this to get a rough idea of the where buildings should go on the land and how much space they would take up. Devices in the home store were too expensive. This item does a great job. The wire guide can get in the way, you can take it off if you don’t like it. I found it annoying when measuring over rough ground. Other than that, its a keeper.
I did literally weeks of research to find the best measuring wheel, at the best price. My purchase on Amazon beat all the others by a long shot. I inspect commercial buildings and do about 4 a day, 20 or more each week. The Keson R 318 is lightweght, sturdy accurate and “walks” over any terrain.
The factory warranty is for six years and I don’t expect that I’ll have a need to use it. ( by the way, I called Keson and the service rep was great ) Amazon hit a homerun with me with this product ! Tom
