  1. This stripper is well made and works as advertised. Squeeze the jaws open, let them close around the cable. Make two rounds and pull. The next time you open the jaws, the insulation you pulled off is ejected. Could find no signs of nicks in the wires. For a basic, non-adjustable CAT5 stripper, you can’t beat the price.

  2. This neat little tool is the best I have found for perfectly stripping CAT 5, 5e and 6 cables quickly. Simply open and place this tool around the jacketed cable and give it a few fast spins with your index finger. In a matter of seconds, you have an evenly scored incision in the jacket of the cable. Tug slightly on the jacket and it pulls right off, leaving behind a perfect strip job with no nicks to the conductors beneath. A must-have tool for any comm tech, electronics enthusiast or installer!
