SK Hand Tools 86006 SureGrip Combination Screwdriver Set, 10-Piece
People who buy screwdrivers tend to fall into one of two camps. The first is to buy the cheapest thing out there – and replace them often. The second tend to want to buy a tool once, and once only. This set of screwdrivers does not fall neatly into either category.
My impression of these screwdrivers are that they are actually a decent tool, comparable I would say to a Craftsman, or maybe a bit better. However they do not seem to be of the quality of my Snap-On or Mac Tools Macsimizer screwdrivers. Specifically the tips do not seem to be quite as hard or durable as these products. On a plus side they do allow you to help them along with a wrench where needed, and have strong handles that do not break out and which do not absorb oil or dirt.
All in all a decent screwdriver, which is probably more than sufficient for a home mechanic or even many professional mechanics. I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 mostly because I feel S-K could do a better job with the hardness of the tips, and maybe their shape slightly. If they could get that worked out – these screwdrivers would be as good as anything you could buy.
