I told myself I would never buy Stanley products again. Well, this one looked really great, but alas, it just does not feel like quality and measurement markings look more akin to a child’s play toy.
This rafter square is simply one of the best carpenter tools on the market. I’ve been building houses for over thirty years and have been using these rafter squares for almost as many. You lock the bar on the pitch you want and can get both the plumb and seat cuts without changing anything. In my opinion this one ranks second only to the Construction Master calculater as the one that I can’t do without. And to the guy who gave this product a bad review: Don’t knock my dang tools! You don’t know what you’re talking about!
