  1. Compared to other adjustable wrenches near this price. This is one is hard to beat. The handle is a major point it’s round and fits in the hand without the feel of the standard flat wrench, plus the rubber grip helps really apply torque.

  2. The maximum jaw width of the 6″ wrench is 19mm (3/4″). This key piece of information is missing in the specifications of the Stanley adjustable wrenches. Will other reviewers please include it for the 8″ and 10″ wrenches? One kind soul has it for the 12″. Thanks.

  3. If you don’t need a wrench for big jobs, maybe some small things around an apartment, this is ideal. Storing it isn’t a problem, and it’s very handy.

  4. There is nothing truly special about this wrench. It does what it is supposed to do. The grips are comfortable, the size scale could be of use in some circumstances and there is very little play in the adjusting mechanism. I have not had the opportunity to test its strength or durability. Otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars. This review also applies to the 10 inch version of this wrench.

  5. It’s an adjustable wrench, pretty straight forward.

Good quality, looks nice (first point is more important than the second, but there it is).

It adjusts and holds its size better than other tools by major manufacturers that I’ve used in the past.

Although I haven’t used the grip in wet or cold environments, I imagine it would suit better in both of those situations. As it is, having the grip helps provide a better feel, if not more torque.

    Review cross-posted to cover the different sizes I’ve used (6″, 8″, & 10″).
