At first glance, the 460-36 Aluminum Speed Level by Empire Level doesn’t appear to be very special, but look closer and you’ll notice that it has a unique triangular-shaped frame. The bottom edge of the tool resembles a conventional I-beam level, but its upper edge comes to a point, forming a sharp angle. This pointed edge allows the level to be used as a precision cutting guide, which is especially useful when trimming wallpaper. Both edges of the level are marked with easy-to-read inch graduations for fast, accurate measuring, marking and cutting. There are very few home-improvement jobs that don’t require a level to determine if surfaces are perfectly level (horizontal) or plumb (vertical).
