Titan 17005 Stainless Steel Prybar and Scraper Set – 2 Piece
I was looking to replace a lost Hyde 9 1/2″ prybar/scraper and could not find any in the stores. The Hyde bars have gone down a bit in quality over the years, going to inferior steel. Still, overall, they are good usable tools.
I am glad I took the chance on ordering the Titan prybars. Unbelievable quality, polished stainless. For those who care, and there aren’t many knowledgeable left, you take a tool and hit it with another steel tool and listen to the sound. Good tools ring as do these Titans. The Hyde prybars make a dull ‘tonk’. You generally let go of a tool so it is unsupported in the air, give it a rap, and catch it before it falls.
I use these pry bars almost every time i’m on the jobsite. As a cabinet maker/finish carpenter, I need a strong, yet gentle pry bar that will get the job done and cause minimal damage. These have exceeded my expectations and are better than other similar bars i have owned in the past. Very stout set – would recommend for anyone.
Great for trim work, and or removing things that need to not be messed up in the process,, Great to have a nice skinny pry bar IM thing about getting a set for each of the guys I work with for christmas, since whenever im out for a day i come back and this tool is in there pouch..

I purchased this “mini flatbar” set after using a spring steel one that belonged to an employee. I immediately shopped for one like his, but could only find the stainless steel Titan two piece set. What a great tool this has turned out to be! Been using it for around six months now. You have to use it just one day to realize that this is the tool you’ve been looking for… a multi-task, very nearly indestructible tool that I find new uses for every day. Give it a try, you’ll see what I mean. By the way, my employee uses mine.. says it’s stronger and is thinner at the ends, giving it more durability.
These things are awesome. Buy it. Buy several, because all your builder-buddies will want one.
